"Timeless Resistance" is the title I gave to this previously written article describing the work of the photographer and activist, Carrie Mae Weems. Her works are truly inspiring, and her push for social equality cannot be confined to any time period. The goal of this editorial spread is to create a layout that expresses and relates to the artist and work it represents. Relating text and image in a clear manner can help convey a more powerful overall message.
